In case you missed it, here are some special moments from our Pride festivities! #1. Nerd in mismatched prints won't shut up about community: Not a super big fan of in-person speaking but when it comes to letting people know how they can support local artists, GIMME THE MIC! Full writeup in The WordSD. #2. Songwriter Sanctuary hosts their own pride with wayyyyyyy more local artists than the official Festival. I have to admit I was a little nervous wondering how the music of all these pop/rock superstars would translate in the sanctuary, but holy cow, did they nail the assignment of flexing to meet the space. It was SUCH a good show from first to last song! Enjoy more recap pics from this month's featured performers! (Credit Alfonso de Alba) Your browser does not support viewing this document. Being featured in the Parade and Marching with songwriters and supporters! Of course every video I've seen of us from the event, I'm on the phone or digging in a bag...you can put the organizer in a parade but you can't take the organizing out of the organzier...or something like that. #5. Cheering on alumni artists Mariela ft Marq Calabio on the main stage! It was so fun to watch all the local artists in the crowd swivel their head over to that giant jumbo tron and ooh and awww as Mariela (w/ Marq Calabio) absolutely dominated the main stage! Such a proud mama bear moment. (I missed snaps of our other alumni artist Julian Forest, but super proud of him too!)
