Artist Access Network - Community Resource Hub
As part of its Artist Access Network project, Songwriter Sanctuary San Diego provides this Community Resource Hub for artists and community members. It includes a mix of offers, tools, and information to support the daily realities of taking care of ourselves and each other. (Did you think those bozos in charge were coming to help us?)
We know, it looks half-baked because it is...we just started building it! Thanks for your patience as we continue to add to the list.
Listings Bold & Underlined are those who have taken time to contribute to this project with either public or private offerings. Please take a moment to learn more about them and discover if they are providing a service you might be interested in!

Local Venues (San Diego area)
Pro-tip: Check a venue's calendar before you pitch yourself for a date or as a support act. Does the date already have a headliner? Is the headliner already carrying support? Probably not a good idea to ask about that date.
Non-Local Venues (Coming Soon)
Pro-tip: See above tip + If you're pitching yourself as a touring act, it might be best to establish relationships with similar local acts and try to collaborate on pitching a bill together. You can develop these connections by assisting touring artists when they come to your city, and they will ideally return the favor when you come through their town.

Referral Opportunities
- Miranda Ramos Music - Offers 10% booking referral credit for new venues booked (venue must pay minimum $750). You must be the direct reason the booking happens (not just a lead or suggestion). Please let us know upfront that you’re the referral so we can track it. Payment is made after the show and once we’ve been paid by the venue (Venmo or Zelle). Applies to the first booking only - not repeat gigs at the same venue. If multiple people are involved, we’ll determine referral credit fairly. If the show is canceled or the venue doesn’t pay, the bonus doesn’t apply. Not applicable to bookings already in progress, existing contacts, or agent/manager bookings unless we agree ahead of time. Email Miranda for more.
