Sustaining the Sanctuary

Songwriter Sanctuary exists to make sure artists are paid, audiences are present, and community is considered. But spaces like this don't sustain themselves. Your support helps us reduce barriers, expand access, and build a new type of music city where songwriters are renowned, respected, and able to experience a return for their valuable contributions to the region.

Give What You Can

We put every dollar to good use, supporting projects like artist guarantees, accessibility improvements, community and artists programming, and series sustainability! Note: Zeffy is our preferred platform because they don't charge nonprofits. (You can also opt out of their fee if you wish, similar to GoFundMe).

Artist Access Network

If you run a business, you likely already have something to offer (think products, services, space, expertise, etc.)
Songwriter Sanctuary SD's Artist Access Network makes it easy to put that to work in a way that directly supports local creatives.

How It Works:
1. You make an offer that works for you, for as long as it works for you.
2. We share that offer with our cohort of 100+ Songwriter Sanctuary artists.
3. Together, we help reduce barriers so artists can live and create in San Diego.

*You can also opt to share offers with our broader community of patrons
and/or provide open-source materials for our free artist resource hub.
We'll librar-ify anything.
